Even if you are NOT planning on having your child participate in one or more of the activities, you must still complete the process.

BOOMERS PARK (DOES NOT include 8th Gr. Promotion Party)
June 3rd, 2025, 8:15 AM – 2:30 PM
Admission, bus and lunch $100 (requested donation)
The final middle school field trip is the class trip to Boomers Park, in Livermore, CA. Please be sure to fill out the Permission Slip #1. This is a fun all day event to close out middle school.
Donations cover the Boomers Park admission, transportation and lunch. No student would be excluded from any of the above activities due to an inability to make a donation; however, if we do not collect enough funds or have enough volunteers, these events may be downsized or canceled.
PROMOTION PRACTICE AND CEREMONY:
June 4th, 2025 : TIME → 7:30AM and LOCATION for practice → DVHS AUXILIARY GYM
Students will attend promotion practice on this day and must be dropped off at DVHS AUXILIARY GYM. Please keep in mind that DVHS students will be having finals that week and need to be free of distractions. After the practice, students will walk back to WRMS where parents/guardians can pick them up. Please be sure to fill out the Promotion Practice Permission Form #2 so that your child may walk back to WRMS.
June 4th, 2025, 5:30 PM. Ceremony at DVHS AUXILIARY GYM.
Students arrive at 5:30 PM and check in at the Auxiliary Gym. Open seating for family and invited guests. No reserved seating. GENERAL DRESS CODE: Appropriate dresses. Sweaters or a light jacket is recommended. Slacks, nice shirt and tie are appropriate. Sport coats or sweaters are optional. NOT ALLOWED: tuxedos, flip-flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts, shorts, jeans, hats. High heels are not allowed as they can damage the synthetic football field and track. No mini, backless, strapless, spaghetti straps, formal gowns or cocktail dresses. Your child will receive a Promotion Certificate from WRMS on the evening of the ceremony, with their first and last name printed as it appears in Infinite Campus. If you wish to have your child's name printed differently, you must submit via Google form link in the email.
After completing, you will be asked to print and put all requested documents into one envelope with your child's first and last name. This envelope is to be turned into the front office to the box labeled "8th Grade Field Trip & Promotion Practice/Ceremony Only."

This process must be completed in the Student Store, whether or, not, your child will be participating in the activities. If your child is not participating in one or more of the activities, you must select accordingly from the drop-down menus and click Add to Cart and complete the process.
All school rules will be enforced at each activity. All activities are for WRMS students ONLY. At the Principal’s discretion, a student may lose one or more activities due to ongoing discipline issues.
